Today we took Angelica on her first trip to the zoo! She was so excited about it. When we mentioned it to her last night, she said, "Yeah, I wanna go to the zoo and see all the animals!" Then we asked her what animals she wanted to see, and she said, "A lion, an elephant, a monkey, some flowers and some trees." Well, we didn't see a lion, she didn't care too much for the monkeys, but she was thrilled with the elephant, the snakes, and the kangaroo she saw!
At the end of the trip we took a ride on a train that basically just took us through the wetlands that the zoo was built on, and she really enjoyed that as well. After all was said and done, we got in the car to head home and she was asleep before we got out of the parking lot. I think that tells you how much fun she had!

Rylie isn't afraid of the snakes either! ::shudders:: We definitely need to do a zoo playdate soon. It is super fun in the summer when the splash pad is open too!
