{CLOSED} Color It By Numbers - Great Computer Games for Kids #review #giveaway

For a long time, Angelica has had a fascination with the computer. When she was a little baby and her Daddy was working on a video game/radio show, we used to sit and listen to his evening show and play along. She was less than 3 months old then, so she's come a long way since sitting and punching random keys (or kicking them with her baby feet) and now actually understands how to interact with a computer!

I recently got the chance to review the Color it by Numbers Princess, Vehicles and Animals games. These games are very much like the Paint by Numbers books you might remember from your childhood. There are 9 colors, and each color is numbered to correspond with a spot on the picture. One quick click and the spot fills with that color! All your child needs to know how to do is read numbers and use a computer mouse. (Angelica doesn't quite have the mouse skills yet, so we work on them together.) A friendly-sounding song plays in the background, and when your child finishes the picture, the picture sparkles and a chime plays!

Program features:
  • Three coloring modes
  • Easy to change preset colors
  • Cute and exciting images
  • Beautiful effects
  • Adapted for all screen resolutions
  • The picture is automatically saved after exiting the program
  • Music and sounds

As well as being in English, the program has been translated into German, Spanish, French and Russian. The game is available for PC, Mac and Linux. I use a MacBook Pro and it works like a charm!

Want to see how these games work? Check out the Video Tour!

Angelica quickly fell in love with this game -- especially the Princesses! Here's a video of us playing together.

Each game comes with 15 different coloring pages. Once it's done, you can clear the painting and customize the colors as well, so you never have to do the same exact painting twice.

These games are intended for ages 4+ (but as you can see, Angelica still loves them at age 3) and can be purchased online at http://coloritbynumbers.com for $9.99 each (you save 10% if you buy two, and 15% if you buy three, so you can get all three for $25.47). The games have a 14 day satisfaction guarantee.
