More sickies!

Angelica so rarely gets sick, so it's hard to see her get sick back to back!

Friday night, Scott and I went out for a date night while Angelica hung out with her cousins (and Aunt Stefanie). After picking Angelica up and driving home, it was clear that she wasn't feeling well. Her voice was hoarse and she went into an absolute rage at the mere suggestion that I put pajamas on her.

Yesterday she seemed a little better...she had a cough but otherwise was full of energy. Scott got up with her because I had a massive headache (I'm trying to cut back on caffeine and it's KILLING my head) but when I got up, they were outside playing. She did wind up taking a three hour nap though, unusual for her. (She also did poopie in the potty voluntarily for the very first time! Yay! Go her!)

Today her cough was worse...she did fine at church but coughed so much she couldn't fall asleep for her nap. She was definitely full of energy in the afternoon though...we played tag and hide and seek before dinner, and she was laughing and in a really great mood.

At the dinner table, though, she sat down, took one bite (her favorite, spaghetti and meatballs), gagged a bit, pushed the plate away and said, "I don't feel good, I just wanna go lay down in bed."

And that's what she did.

I'm pretty sure it's just a cold. She was a tad warm tonight, but not feverish...I hope that stays away otherwise I might worry that she caught the flu. I hope she's better tomorrow (and not more feverish...otherwise we'll be heading to the doctor)!
